Anthony Haughey was born in Keady, Northern Ireland and lives in Dublin.

Through images and a text by Fintan O'Toole, Edge of Europe explores life in the West of Ireland, looking at communities living at the very edge of the European Continent. The book also represents those who have left these places to live as immigrants in Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut. These images are simultaneously evocative of warmth and community, and isolation and desolation.
